The Director General of the Tanzania Sisal Board (TSB), Saddy Kambona, met and held discussions with the Tanga Port Manager, Saleh Mbega, at the TSB offices in Tanga City.

During their discussions, they addressed various matters concerning the efficiency and challenges of transporting sisal through the Port of Tanga, as well as strategies to resolve them in order to enable sisal farmers and traders to utilize the port effectively.

Manager Mbega, who was recently appointed to lead the port, was accompanied by his delegation. Among other matters, he used the opportunity to formally introduce himself to Director General Kambona, who also serves as the Chairperson of Heads of Government Institutions in Tanga Region.
